3D Gait Analysis + (Platinum)
What is the Platinum Assessment?
The Platinum Assessment combines the use of state of the art 3D assessment using our Walk3D or Run3D gait analysis along side our traditional 2D pressure analysis and strength testing.
This allows us to accurately measure your movement patterns, gaining data driven insights into your specific biomechanics which will help us identify causes of your injury.
Run3D & Walk3D involves placing 39 markers on your pelvis, hips, knees and ankles allowing the software to generate a 3 dimensional model of your lower limb. This will allow us to understand your movement in 3 different planes.
Once the markers are in place we will get you walking/running on a treadmill, once you are warmed up and running at the desired speed we will start to capture your data. Data capture will last for about 30 seconds. We will often capture data for a few pairs of shoes depending on your specific requirements.
Once the data is gathered we will then do the dynamic pressure plate analysis as well as musculoskeletal testing, where we will quantify strength, range of motion, alignment and function.
We will then combine the 3D data with the dynamic pressure systems & musculoskeletal testing, we will then generate an in depth report on our findings. The report will include all of the data found as well as recommendations, exercises and clear pathway to resolving your injury.
