Advice Assessment
What is the Advice Assessment?
This assessment is to discuss current foot and lower limb pain and injury. Advice will be given on how to manage the condition and exercises that can help.
What does it include?
This assessment includes:
- Detail history taking and discussion around injury with podiatrist. Discussion around reports and imaging will also be undertaken.
- Range of movement testing will be performed.
- Static posture analysis will be performed.
- Discussion around pain or injury.
- Treatment plan put in place. This includes footwear advice and any strength and rehab plans that need to be incorporated.
- If insoles are needed – an additional Advice Assessment will need to be undertaken to gather enough information to prescribe insoles. This will come at additional cost and the insoles will also come at additional cost.
The appointment will last up to 30 minutes.
