Meet The A-Team
Dai Cole – Triathlete
David brings a wealth of experience to the world of endurance sports, with over 20 years of racing experience and a decade dedicated specifically to triathlon. His competitive journey has taken him across the globe, participating in running, duathlon, and triathlon events.
One of David’s proudest achievements came in 2023 when he competed at the Ironman World Championships in Kona, finishing with an impressive time of 9 hours and 54 minutes. He considers this his greatest triumph in triathlon, showcasing his ability to adapt to challenging conditions and meticulously prepare for the pinnacle of Ironman competition.
David leverages his extensive knowledge and successful training methods to help athletes of all levels achieve their goals. Whether working with beginners or seasoned competitors, he has guided numerous athletes to personal bests, as well as qualifications for Ironman 70.3 and Ironman World Championships.

Anna Hursey – Table Tennis Player
Anna’s remarkable journey in sports began at a very young age, when she was 11 she was selected to represent Wales at the Commonwealth Games, making history as the youngest player ever to compete in the event. Her exceptional performance helped Wales reach the quarter-finals, and she has continued to regularly compete, constantly pushing her limits.
Off the table, Anna has been equally impressive. In 2018, she was honoured with the Daily Mirror Pride of Sports Award as the Young Sportsperson of the Year. Her passion extends beyond sports, as she was named a United Nations Young Champion for Climate Change and proudly supports President Biden’s bold climate agenda.
Despite these achievements, table tennis remains Anna’s main focus. Most recently, she represented Great Britain at the Paris Olympics, further solidifying her place as a leading figure in the sport.

Claire Hann – Triathlete
Claire has always been an active individual, with a passion for sports that dates back to her childhood. From competing in swimming at the national level to running at university, her dedication to athletics has been unwavering. However, it wasn’t until 2010, when she participated in the London Triathlon, that she discovered her true love for triathlon.
In 2015, Claire competed in her first Ironman 70.3, where she won her category, marking the beginning of a series of impressive achievements in the sport. Her hard work and determination culminated in a standout victory at the Ironman 70.3 in Jönköping in 2019.
Despite facing challenges and injuries along the way, Claire’s commitment to training and her passion for triathlon have never wavered. She continues to push her limits, embodying the spirit of perseverance and excellence.

Mick Mcgeoch – Veteran Marathon Runner
Mick has been a passionate runner for as long as anyone can remember and is a founding member of Les Croupiers Running Club in Cardiff. Known for his steely determination and friendly nature, Mick is a beloved figure in the running community.
Throughout his running career, Mick has achieved remarkable times across a wide range of events, from marathons and half marathons to park runs. His dedication to the sport is evident in his extensive list of accomplishments and the respect he commands among fellow runners.
Jo Westwood – Welsh Hockey Player
Jo is a key player in the Premier Division for East Grinstead HC, bringing a wealth of experience from her time with clubs like Holcombe HC, Whitchurch Saints, Cardiff & Met, and Swansea. As a strong and reliable defender, she has represented Wales at both U16 and U18 levels, even captaining the U18 team during the European Championships, leading them to the A division.
Since making her Senior debut for Wales in 2012 against Ireland, Jo has competed in numerous prestigious tournaments, including the Commonwealth Games in 2014 and 2018, various European competitions, and World League events.
Off the field, Jo is dedicated to developing the next generation of players as the Director of Hockey at Felsted School. Her coaching career has included stints at Teddington HC and Braintree HC, where she coached last season.
