Learn moreShockwave therapy serves as a non-invasive, successful way to address chronic injuries in soft tissues like tendons and the plantar fascia. Rather than resorting to surgery or injections, this treatment has been clinically shown to trigger metabolic responses, kickstarting the healing process.
Learn moreInsoles (orthoses) have been used for many years as a way to reduce pain, improve support or adjust foot posture. Here at ACE we have our very own manufacturing lab at our headquarters which will allow us to supply insoles (if needed) very quickly, with the majority being able to be produced during your appointment.
Learn moreAs with most injuries to the human body there is usually always an amount of rehabilitation that is needed. When dealing with lower limb injuries the demands on tissue can be very high so we must look at how we can utilise strength & rehabilitation as part of most treatment plans.

Yes, you will need to check that your policy covers you for gait analysis. You will need to provide your insurance details so we can process the invoice for the appointment. In most cases private health insurers wont cover any insoles. These will have to be a self-pay item.
We ask that you complete the online forms emailed to you prior to the appointment, so the podiatrist has that information ready for the appointment.
We ask that you arrive with either loose fitting trousers, running gear or a pair of shorts as the podiatrist will need to see your lower limb. We do have changing rooms should you wish to change.
We also ask that you bring the relevant footwear, i.e running shoes, football/rugby boots, work shoes etc.
All of our podiatrists have BSc (Hons) degree in Podiatry and have undergone further training. They are also registered with the Health Care Professionals Council and the Society of Chiropodists and Podiatrists.
Depending on the type of appointment you have booked will depend on the time but it can be anywhere from 1 hour to 2 ½ hours. This will include the manufacture time of the insoles if they are prescribed for you.
