What is General Podiatry (Chiropody)
General podiatry is the care and management of the foot and ankle. Our HCPC registered podiatrists are experts in the treatment of the feet and lower limbs. We need to carry out a more thorough new assessment if we haven’t seen you previously which includes circulation testing, taking a medical history and a list of medication. Once you had had the initial assessment any further treatments will done at lower repeat appointment cost.

Nail cutting and care
Lots of patients suffer with thick, hard to cut nails and others just have difficulty cutting them due to poor sight or reduced mobility. Our podiatrists offer a toenail cutting service and for a little bit extra will even cut your fingernails.

Callus is a build-up of hard skin due to increased pressure of friction. These callus’ can become very thick and painful. Our team have undergone years of training to make sure that these callus’ can be reduced and also give option on how to manage them moving forward.

Heloma Durum or Hard Corns are the most common types of corns. This is where hard skin forms a stone like shape under your foot. These corns can be very uncomfortable to walk on. Others types of corn can also occur on the foot and in-between the toes. Our podiatrists are specialists in the treatment, removal and management of this painful, annoying condition.

What should I wear to my appointment?
We advised that you wear easy to remove shoes & socks and wear trousers that are easy to roll up.
How do I book an appointment?

How much does an appointment cost?
There are a variety of different appointments available, however for a new customer a general podiatry appointment will cost £42 and for returning customers appointments cost £35. Head over to The Healthcare Hub Website for more information.
Are your podiatrists HCPC registered?
Yes, all of podiatrists have undergone at least 3 years in university and are members of the Healthcare Professions Council (HCPC). To check the register click here.
