At ACE we have been lucky enough to support some of Wales best known and most successful sporting teams including the men’s and ladies Welsh Rugby Team, Wales & Celtic Dragons Netball, Cardiff City FC and Welsh Athletics. We also frequently work with a number of professional rugby teams, championship & premier league football teams, England Cricket as well as the English Institute of Sport.
We are able to offer a number of different services to your team and work very closely with the medical teams within these sporting establishments.

Services we can provide
Lower Limb Injury Assessments
If you have a player who is suffering with a lower limb injury we can assess these players on an individual basis. This can be done at our headquarters and satellite clinics or we can travel to a place of your choosing, be it club, training ground or players house.

We can book out a dedicated time slot and screen a part or the whole team depending on your requirements. These screening can vary in depth depending on your needs but can include everything from full dynamic pressure testing, joint range testing, static and dynamic posture and function observations. Full reporting will issued as part of this service.

All aspects of general podiatry care including nail problems i.e. thick painful nail, in growing toenails and infection. Skin care including painful corns, callus & blistering. These services are available for individual players or slot bookings where multiple players can be seen at a time.

If you are in need of insoles for your players then we can provide these for you. We are able to offer full assessment, diagnosis and prescription of orthoses or if you have a podiatrist already at your club/team then we can manufacture these devices for you. We have a huge amount of experience in making these devices for all sorts of sporting footwear.

We often work with clubs to create necessary changes to sports footwear, this can include boot modifications, 3D foot capture for boot sizing, stud addition or removal, boot stiffening and spike conversions on boots.
